Students are met with information, both positive and negative, online daily. They encounter games and social media at such a fast rate. We as adults are inundated with texts, tweets, posts, news and calls.
Something we never consider: "Step back and take a positive look. How can I be a great digital citizen?"
While researching lessons I came across Digital Bytes on the Common Sense Media website. The site is ideal for middle school and high school students. This website provides teens with the opportunity to express their responses to questions through multimedia projects and videos.
How does this apply to you as a parent? This may be an activity you can do with your middle school student. Maybe challenge your high school student to try one. A family could take this on as a family project as well!
